The Recital

Sunday, April 14, 2013

I spent 4 hours watching a dance recital at the AFP theater yesterday.
I'm not really a big fan of the ballet performances but I did enjoy watching the show cause my 6-year-old cousin was part of it. Seriously, what's cuter than little kids with their little tutus? I also couldn't help but give a faint shriek whenever 4 or 5-year-old kids come out with their little hoodies and caps to bust some hiphop moves. Oh, the joy of seeing kids dance! IMG_9810 2 0413 OUTFIT IMG_9814 IMG_9815
As for the outfit, I decided to wear something dainty and a little bit formal. I chose the brown dress cause I loved the interesting details on the neckline. Top off the look, I paired the dress with pink accents - the wedges and the necklace.
What do you think about this look? Do you guys like dance performances too?

Of Wearing Teal

Sunday, October 7, 2012

If you know me personally, you’d agree if I say I’m the ‘basics’ type of girl. You know ‘em basic white polos and denim jeans? Oh, they’re my ultimate wardrobe staples. When the neon color-blocking trend took off, I accepted my fate. I wouldn’t be a trend follower for sometime. Haha

Going to school wearing this teal-colored jeans and wedges was a bit of a risk for me. But I guess, in exploring the fancy schmancy world of fashion -- risk-taking is always involved.

Thanks to my sister for this pasalubong from H&M! She, obviously, knows me too well.
Next time ulit ha! *cough cough*

And you know what? I’m glad I took a risk.
