# 1 Wear it Bright! 

Bright colors never fail to give off that positive & energetic vibe. This 2012, it’s great to stock up on pieces that can serve as the “pop of color” in any outfit that you want to create. Colors of the year are yellows, salmons, oranges and pinks. Don’t forget to add gold and glitter pieces for that opulent look during parties! 

#2 Kaleidoscopic

At first look, kaleidoscopic prints can make you dazed and confused. But take that second look and you'll realize that it actually sends out a whimsical effect to your outfit. I'm very excited for this trend this year, it's perfect for girls who just wanna have fun -- in life and in fashion! 

 # 3 Feminine and Flowy

Lady-like and Innocent. Those are the two words that comes to my mind when you say "feminine". They say that the feminine flowy dresses will make it big this year. I guess it's made to balance out the craziness of kaleidoscopic patterns and prints. 

Nonetheless, I think it's always nice to wear flowy skirts and grecian-inspired dresses when it comes to attending balls. You'd instantly feel like a goddess! 

 #4 Calm Seas

I call it the -- monochromatic blue and green trend. They say it exemplifies peace and tranquility. Well, if you ask me - it does make sense. Truth is, the world can be too overwhelming sometimes and this year of 2012, I bet there would be a lot of activities and events that will keep us busy. This trend will somehow give us that peace of mind that we all deserve.Two thumbs up for fashion for also considering our needs. 

#5 Oh, What a Statement

That day will surely come when you just can't decide which clothes to wear -- cause it's either you're too tired or too lazy to think. The best solution for this is to go out with a plain tee and wear a statement neckpiece. This trend will save us big time! You'd still leave the house looking stylish and fabulous.

It's cool to follow and try out trends but remember, that's not always the case. You should always go with what makes you feel YOU. Don't try out fashion trends just because the whole world is doing it. 

And if I must reiterate, fashion is all about self-expression. Go ahead, experiment if you must. Whatever makes you feel and look great is always fashionable. ;)
