What I did today: Visit The Manila Food and Beverage Expo 2012 at the World Trade Center.

My sister and I wanted to find suppliers for a 'cutesy-chill' cafe we're planning to put up, but I was actually more excited for something else -- TASTE TESTS! haha Don't you just love free food? Here's a teaser of what you'll see inside. The expo is until June 17 so it's not too late to drop by.

Pizza oven for people who want to start a Pizza business. My mom wanted this badly but they don't accept credit cards and she forgot to bring cash with her.

Gelato. Perfect dessert if you're feeling down. Enough said.

TOP 5 MAFBEX 2012 TIPS BY JESSNOTHINLESS

1. There were a lot of booths inside! I suggest allotting at least 3 hours to roam around the expo.
2. Pass by the 'Paging' booth near the entrance and get your red reusable bag before entering the expo. You can use that to store calling cards and brochures. To get the bag, just present your MAFBEX ticket and fill up a form asking for your contact details.
3. If you're planning to buy something expensive (e.g. an appliance), bring cash or checkbook. Some booths don't accept credit cards.
4. Take note of the time of the seminar/s you want to join. There are just a few seminars per day so it's great if you don't miss out on those.
5. Ticket Prices: Php 100 for visitors; Php 80 for Ensogo/Senior Citizens
